Hello guys, I'm here with a suggestion. Something very simple that I believe will be a nice bit of general help for wardens.
In short typing !whelp or /whelp in chat will bring up a small menu that shows all the key warden commands, like the warden vote commands and the commands for ff and cc.
This will be able to be used by all players current warden or not and will be great for newer wardens allowing them to see commands to be able to do certain things that they wouldn't know otherwise.
Giving new members this learning tool and older members a little refresher for those new commands they haven't quite learned yet would be so helpful.
This could be added to the warden menu but I feel that's completely unnecessary but I feel some might like it as an addition.
Vote in the poll above. :)

Bro stole my idea what the heck!!!

Jokes aside I think this would be a fantastic addition to the server

Could be nice as a way to de-clutter the current warden menu by moving some of the b-tier/volatile commands (team specific votes and friendly fire as examples) over to it.

This will not help me as I do not play blue, but a good idea! (maybe this reduces people who mfk)

instead of creating another plugin for this approach it'd be better if the forward /whelp - !whelp simply opens a html motd referring to a forum article imo?
personally I can never get HTML motd to work for tf2 for me. Don't know if its a hud issue or what. Personally a plugin would be a lot easier and quicker than having the HTML motd to load up and to see scroll thru everything, at least with the plugin the warden (or any player) doesn't have to afk while reading since with the plugin they can still at least move around in game.

rules are also forum only so there can be aswell simply a reminder message like with rules.

this could work but like calassic mentioned some players might have problems accessing it. if the suggestion passes it might be worth redoing the poll with the option between having it as a plugin or a motd.

If more people mention wanting a MOTD then we should, if not it might just prolong the suggestion unnecessarily tbh

like i said we can simply make a short url like the rules.

If you make it MOTD you might as well not add it imo. I also understand making a plug-in and bug testing compatibilities with all the other plug-ins can be alot of work that nobody really wants to deal with, so I voted yes but I really wouldn't mind if it wasn't added. If it is added in plug-in form it should replace the #1 option on the wmenu since I don't think someone who doesn't know the server specific commands would even know the /whelp command exists. Or you could replace/add one of those chat tips that tells you to use it to see a list of commands.

can't get over "whelp" being an actual word

"whelp, time to die!" (ingame of course!)
